Classroom Blog Assignment, 16 October 2016

1. I believed that parents pressure their children to achieve because they want their children to be successful. Most parents want their children to have a prosperous life and avoid the mistakes they made in their early life.

2. Religious beliefs, decisions, rules, and their children's future are some of the many conflicts between parents and their children.

3. People can be anything they want to be. It takes hard work and consistency in order to do this. 

4. All conflicts does not have a winner. 

5. My mother's runs her household in an authoritative manner. Rules are often broken without consequences. A Chinese household are ran traditionally. Instead of the son being able to make decisions on his own, he must permission from his grandfather to do things. Chinese households are also have strict rules that must be obeyed.

Blog Post Assignment 3

     This article was talking about a man named Stephen McMillian. He was interested in landscaping since he was a child. His senior year, Stephen and his friend (John Zalabak) decided to walk to L.A., but instead hiked the John Muir trail. Twenty years after the John Muir hike, they decided to hike the PCT. On this hike, they took pictures and made aquatint etch art. Aquatint etching is a technique that produces a full tonal range and rich textures by drawing an image onto a copper plate, then burning it into the plate with acid.

I recently completed a rough draft a class essay. It was read in front of the class along with the mistakes I've made. I noticed alot of problems with my essay and problems that i could've easily made just like everyone else. One mistake i made was spelling, I need to remember to go back and check my spelling readers will read my paper and not understand it due to bad spelling. Another problem about my essay was that i didn't proofread my paper before I turn it in. Doing this, I can spot my mistakes. To be safe and to have a full edited paper, I'll let a friend proofread my paper.

Introduction

My name is Doryan Williams and I attend BC Rain high school. I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I live with my mom, brother, sister, and niece. I love my family, but we disagree a lot. I stay isolated in my room most of the time to avoid with them. Things I like to do is play video games and text. My exceptions for this school year are to take advantage of the opportunities around my school, bring positive vibes around people, and set an example for the lower grade level. I want to pursue my dream to become a Freemason after I get a major in either psychology or the audio/video production.
