Blog Post Assignment 3

This article was talking about a man named Stephen McMillian. He was interested in landscaping since he was a child. His senior year, Stephen and his friend (John Zalabak) decided to walk to L.A., but instead hiked the John Muir trail. Twenty years after the John Muir hike, they decided to hike the PCT. On this hike, they took pictures and made aquatint etch art. Aquatint etching is a technique that produces a full tonal range and rich textures by drawing an image onto a copper plate, then burning it into the plate with acid.

1 interesting fact: Stephen has been inspired and sustained by the natural world and has spent much time of this time outside.
1 fact: Landscaping has been in Stephen's life since he was 16.
1 questions: How long was the process of aquatint etching?
